Emergency escape breathing device (EEBD) are used for escaping from a compartment that has a hazardous atmosphere to provide personal breathing protection. Not to be used for fighting fire, entering oxygen deficient voids or tanks, or worn by fire fighters. There is a pressure gauge on the cylinder to indicate the cylinder pressure. Easy to use, open the cylinder valve and put the hood on head when use. Emergency escape breathing device is designed to offer safe evacuation from hazardous environments. This can vary from Airline systems with emergency supplies of air in event of a problem to dedicated Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus sets offering 10-15 minutes air thus giving the employee adequate time to evacuate the danger area.
